Our focus this Thursday is once again on the Europa League and there are some cracking games in store tonight in the competition.

It is fair to say that the newly added Conference League has improved the overall quality of the Europa League and that this tournament is certainly much stronger, and all the more attractive to fans as a direct result of that.

This year’s quarter-finals sees a number of teams that have reached a similar stage, or further, in the Champions League in recent years, while the likes of West Ham and Rangers are amongst the team going deeper in this tournament than they have previously.
